Hey I used to work at a Chi Chi's. They made a mean margarita, great salsa, and chimichangas. But I miss Tex-Mex food in general.

I used to work at a chic his too. Great tips after lots of margaritas, and they made fresh salsa every day in giant and clean garbage cans

Chi-Chi's was great - we used to go to the Monday night Happy Hours at the one in Berwyn Heights.

Chi Chi's still exists! ...in Brussels, Belgium!

There's one on N. Glebe in Ballston in Arlington. I'm honestly surprised it's still open.

I have an injury and have not been out and about lately...but they are still reviewing Booeymonger in Friendship Heights on Yelp...? Why do people think it is closed?

There are four Booeymonger locations: Bethesda, Friendship Hts., Georgetown and Balston. I used to go to the Friendship Hts one a lot in the '80s. I was so glad it was still there when I went a couple months ago for the first time in years.

Wow, what a blast from the past I haven't thought about for at least 20 years. Now I want one!

The Russian Tea Room is still standing. Not sure about Mama's.

it closed several times actually, again in 2002 and again in 2006. It tries hard, but keeps closing.

Can't remember the name, but there was a restaurant in Springfield Mall in the early 00's that had amazing carrot cake. Man, I wish I could get a slice of that today.
