NVA/Loudoun to MLS Next

Sounds like it’s official and NVA is going GA and MLS next. Seems like their new GA team will fit right in with all of the other mediocre GA teams in the area. I can assure you half of the current ECNL girls will depart NVA for greener pastures with other local ECNL clubs. Going to be some competitive ECNL tryouts and some bigger rosters coming next season!

they are not going GA. The TD of NVA has a daughter. Shes elite and he knows what ECNL brings. The only thing would suspect is a rebranding of loudoun with GA. But no way for NVA.

Player sends film, coaches watch film.
Coaches come watch player. Player gets offer.

Whether she is on NVA, SYC, Wilmington Hammerheads, she will be scouted. If good enough.

I’m pretty familiar with recruiting. You contradict yourself. Scouts only know of a player is “good enough” if they see them play. Every school does not watch every player that emails them. Top schools are watching mostly top teams. For example NVA 08 and SYC 08 will have different schools watching them. Different levels of team in different leagues. If there’s a really strong player on a lower level team, scouts will find her with club coach helps.

GA hosts conference IDS. So if there is an extremely talented player a coach will find them.

Ive been involved in girls soccer for decades. IDs are generally a farce. The landscape for girls side is ECNL or bust. That doesnt mean GA girls wont get their chance. However if you want to increase odds go to ECNL.

You can keep defending GA all you want they are 2nd tier.

And I will tell you again, out of the 100 or so clubs, only the top 20 are elite. Class. The rest are just as mediocre.

Good players will be found no matter what. That’s the truth.

and ill tell you again the top GA clubs would be mid tier in ECNL.

So why is everyone like NVA and McLean wanting to move to GA? Those guys know the future is GA and mls next.

no its for boys side. MLSnext is a superior boys league. In the end no one wants to watch girls soccer. They want to elevate boys. The penalty is ECNL requires both a boys and girls side to be a member.

unfortunately we have a GA fanboy, who's kid couldn't make ECNL. Given NVA will be hurt if they downgrade. I suspect with all these entities it will show up in a different variant of loudoun.
