5% of lax players are on scholarship at the D1 level. perspective |
Not to pick on Georgetown, but since you mentioned it, I would not want my son to go there in a million years. It was a great school a generation ago, but now has gone over the top woke, in the same vein as Columbia. But a couple of local players have gone there and I am sure it is a good fit for them. the point is that everyone will find the school that is right. |
You are clueless. More like 75% get some scholarship money. Now P5 football schools will get even more. |
you are an idiot. research some before you talk |
Please show us your research. Even if it comes from your own website. This should be good. |
Maybe the PP meant that only 5% of lacrosse players overall (D1, D2, D3, Club) are getting scholarship money? That would sound about right. But if we are talking just D1, then the majority are receiving some scholarship money, but practically zero are receiving a full ride. In fact, few receive more than half half ride. My knowledge is boys - I think that the girls side may be more generous? |
There is more money in the girls game |
My son got a full ride in 10th grade. The college is paying for his high school and we have a new car too and we are the low side of the kickbacks. If you aren't getting this in lacrosse, well I don't know what to tell you. Lacrosse has to take a pay cut to get down to those fake sports like football and basketball. |
Great. The big sports guy has made his way over to the lacrosse threads. Hooray. |
Not sure about that. ND mentioned on IL that with 2 extra scholarships (2 full ride football players play lax) and NIL money they can fund 25 players. |
Lighten up Francis. Obvious satire |
So will the DMV have a second wave?

How did VLC get to be ranked 4th in US lacrosse? |
Maybe they just played more or teams they played where better then usual. https://www.usclublax.com/team_info.php?t=104014&y=2020 |
A certain parent and Pendence coach has a lot cred in the lax.world. |
