Let’s give these mostly over-aged reclasses a big round of applause. Congrats on earning/purchasing your stars and committing while playing down because you couldn’t hang with kids your own age. |
Can’t we take the reclass whining as a given and move on? Seriously, someone is going to the trouble of posting really interesting content and you’re going to gum up this thread with your sniffles? Be better. |
I am not going to disagree with the reclass/ holdbacks. It is just a shame that the rules do not start unless you are a 2029 and younger. |
My kid wasn't picked. Let’s blame it on reclassifying. |
The double reclass is now popular so let’s move on from just criticizing Mater Dei kids |

No sniffles here; my kid is a 30 who will remain a 30 and learn that hard work and grit pay off in the long run. Not dominating kids who are a year (or 2) younger than him. I’m simply saying I will be more impressed with the commits who play on age. |
St John's 2026 class is loaded. Expect a few more commits by Thanksgiving! |
It's odd that your son is a 2030 and you are this invested in the commitment and holdback status of 2026's, especially since the new holdback rules make it so your son will play against kids who are on age. My son is a 2026 and not yet on the board, but he has played against or with most of these commits, and the majority of the commits so far are actually on age. To the extent that some are reclasses or holdbacks, that is the nature of the beast in lacrosse in this part of the country. No need to dump on the players, especially at this particular time when they are due congratulations on their success. |
An EHS/Madlax attackman doing a PG year at Western Reserve right now just committed to Bryant. |
