Why does it matter to the keyboard warriors. The kid found a place that he liked and decided that is where he wanted to be. So it does not fit with what everyone on DCUM believes a kid should go. Should he have just chosen to go to Georgetown or some other school accepted by elitists private schools?

Congrats to that kid for committing to play a d1 sport! Less than 3% of all players go d1! We are spoiled to live in a lacrosse hotbed

A good college helps lead to better career options. D1 lacrosse leads to..........PLL/$30k salary.

College is a part of that equation. The value of the person and their work ethic and desire is more important. At the end of the day, none of these boys are going to choose professional lacrosse player as their career.

The most successful person i know graduated from Frostburg. That is not exactly a great institution. This person worked their ass off and became successful despite the education difference. I also know people that have gone to Ivies and make less than 50k. So your point here is what?
