Coach Beer has a nice team. I’d be shocked if they get to the teens tomorrow night. These teams know each other well. I think Robo has too much firepower and it’s a. 10-7 type of game. Should be a great Friday night.

It will be a close game. But I think Yorktown has historically been better out of the gate each season than most teams. Yorktown 8-7.

Yorktown/Robinson is the main attraction but there are some other interesting games today.

Madison/West Potomac
Battlefield/Indy
Hayfield/South County
Oakton/West Springfield

Does Fairfax still stream free of charge county school games on NFHS?

Thanks. It’s not terribly expensive but it was a nice perk.

Watch Yorktown’s new Freshman attacker - small but smooth.

West Springfield doesn't seem that good this year. Oakton should kill them right?

The fact that Riverside won the game with having that much trouble at the faceoff x was amazing. It looked like they tried multiple guys, but it didn't matter. Hats off to the Madison FOGO for dominating last night. Riversides Defense was very solid. They seemed to have played a zone most of the game, and Madison didn't have answer (with the exception of a few nice placed shots). Great ball control (as said prior) by the Riverside offense. It will be hard to top the excitement and intensity of that game this year. Great job all around!

I thought Madison was supposed to be good this year. Riverside star FOGO was out and Madison still couldn't win. I know you guys probably discussed this game but I have been busy just trying to hear thoughts.

West Springfield and Woodson seem similar so maybe 10-4 or 10-5.

There are three pages of discussion about this game on pages 22-24.
