The problem is that these days, younger American women tend to be overly looks focused and don’t grow out of this phase until it’s too late. They often will ignore good guys who don’t have model looks because they have become accustomed to the endless carousel of easy sex with top tier looking guys on dating apps. I personally know several women like this who literally only care about a guys looks starting from 16-17 and now are late 20’s and STILL go for the same type of guys (the F’boy types who don’t want anything serious and make very poor relationship partners). One of these women is my sister. Terrible taste in men, she’s cute and could easily get a decent well rounded guy, but she inevitably goes for the first stereotypically hot guy she matches with on Tinder with the same predictable results every time. She would rather be with an 8/10 in looks and a 1/10 in every other category than a well rounded 6 or 7/10.

Foreign women seem to outgrow this a lot sooner or never hit this phase in the first place.
