| I keep seeing these beautiful laundry rooms on the HGTV shows but I just take my clean laundry, throw it back in the basket and bring it upstairs to fold it in the living room in front of the tv. Are there people who really stand in the laundry room and fold each piece as it comes out of the dryer? |
| I fold mine mostly on the dining room table. We have laundry in the basement (but do have laundry chutes. whoop whoop!) so I throw it in a basket out of the dryer and haul it upstairs. I fold here and there throughout the day and make piles as a go. Usually by bedtime I have everyones pile on their bed to be put away. Rinse and repeat EVERY.F-ING.DAY. |

Yes. I do that.
For my own clothes, I lay them out flat on top of each other in a pile and then take them into the closet where I hang up each article of clothing (except jeans, which I fold). My panties and bras obviously don't get folded but put into their drawer. Socks get matched and then taken into their drawer. I fold my boyfriend's clothes and then put them away. Same with towels. Our comforter and sheets, I just take them out of the dryer and immediately put them back on the bed. |
| Wherever is convenient at the time. |
A admire your attention to detail. You will not have the time or energy once you're married with children. LOL |

I fold them on the couch while watching tv or else I dump the pile on my bed and fold it there.
If I had a beautiful, sunny laundry room with a radio, I might fold it there while listening to the radio. |
this exactly. |
| Folding laundry is when I watch all my terrible TV, like teen mom 2. |
why is this obvious? i fold mine. jesus do you mean to tell me i've been folding my underthings all these years for nothing? thanks mom. |
| on the couch watching TV. A pretty laundry room would be lost on me. |
| As I take them out of the dryer so they aren't wrinkled. Pants/pjs/etc get folded. Shirts are layed flat on top of the washer and then a carry them up and hang them immediately. |
| I fold or hang mine in my laundry room immediately. DH's and DC's I put in baskets and fold wherever works best at the time, usually in the kitchen while the kids play in family room or upstairs in a bedroom as they jump all around me. |
| Do you all wash each member of the house's laundry separately? |
| Mine end up staying in the dryer until someone needs something:-0 |
| I dump all of my clothes in a laundry basket and get dressed out of the basket every day. If the basket is full and I need to do more laundry, I buy another basket. Between DH, ds and myself, think we are up to 6/7 baskets now. |
