Where do you fold your laundry?

On the couch or on the bed.

My laundry room is right off the family room and I fold clothes over my coffee table in front of the couch. I only do one load at a time though so it's never too overwhelming.

For my own clothes, I lay them out flat on top of each other in a pile and then take them into the closet where I hang up each article of clothing (except jeans, which I fold). My panties and bras obviously don't get folded but put into their drawer. Socks get matched and then taken into their drawer.

I fold my boyfriend's clothes and then put them away. Same with towels. Our comforter and sheets, I just take them out of the dryer and immediately put them back on the bed.

why is this obvious? i fold mine. jesus do you mean to tell me i've been folding my underthings all these years for nothing? thanks mom.

PP here. Haha, I don't know, I thought it was obvious. I just line up my bras so that they are in a pile but laid out. This makes no sense. I don't know how to explain it! But my panties I literally just ball them all up into one big pile and throw them in the drawer. I NEVER fold them.

I'm kind of an organization/neat freak so I guess this is why. The panties just being thrown into their drawer is the only uncharacteristic thing.

NP here. No way. I don't even separate. No one in our family of four owns anything white, except DH's undershirts. Somehow they stay white.

Ha! Yes. DH does his own, I do mine and we split DS's. Workout clothes also washed separately. Colors and whites are always separated for each. This sounds crazy, especially since I'm the pp who throws all the clothes in laundry baskets and never folds.

I sit on the floor in our bedroom and do it.

Mine and the kids are together. DH does his own (his choice.)

NP here. That's funny. I fold all of them and put them in the drawer in their appropriate places. I do think that balling up all the undies and then throwing them in the drawer would bug me! What if you want a particular pair and you have to push the pile around, looking for them?

Sofa or on bed.

I don't think I could fold my undies. I do have one divider in my undie drawer. There's the hot side and the not so hot side

Mine never seem to get folded, I live out if baskets, hoping this does not go on forever

+1 Fold kid clothes so they can dress themselves, but the adults are out of the basket

Pretty much this. When else can you watch TV while feeling productive?

How big is your underwear that it can be folded?
