We had some very reasonable choices on our list for PS3, and got in no where. We have a backup, but what a joke! |
We didn't get in anywhere last year, and when it was all said and done we got into 5 schools. Don't despair. |
OP here, thanks! I just wonder if there will be as much waitlist movement with the new system. But perhaps you are correct! Here is a question folks: If you get in off a waitlist at your #11 choice and accept it, are you taken off the wait lists for just #12 or for all the schools above #11 as well? |
We got in nowhere either! PK3. We also have a good backup, but I was still thinking we'd get in at least somewhere! |
We got in nowhere last year for PK3 but made it in this year for PK4. |
Once the lists leave central office, it's all up to ten individual schools y manage. You'll likely stay not the lists at 6-8 even if you accept a spot at #5... |
OP here, I know! I am seriously surprised. No waitlist number below 100 either btw. |
PK3. Got in nowhere. Have a back up plan but still very disappointed. |
There will be movement, as it is unlikely that everyone put a lot of thought into the way in which they ordered their preferences. Also there are quite a few "hot" schools outside of the common lottery. This is bound to create some movement.

my PK3er is #3 at Bridges. think he will get a spot? |
Yes he will get in. |
Is bridges good in K or grade 1? |
Nothing for PK-3! Our best # is #42 at Lee. Think we have a shot? |
Kindergarten
60's for Mundo Verde 40's for Haynes Didn't apply anywhere else because we're in a good charter. Thought I'd try again for immersion. |
Yes, maybe even this week. (My PK3er got in at Bridges, but has a sibling preference at Yu Ying for that school's new PK3 class. That lottery is Thursday; assuming he gets in, I'll call Bridges the next day to give up our spot.) |
