Any new LAMB parents interested in organizing some playground meetups?

^^^ Welcome to LAMB. You'll find the parent community very warm and inviting, yet protective of our community. We all know DCUM can be very negative, so I think you'll find people shy away from her to outreach each other. We have a parent list serve, which you'll be given access to by the school. Through that you'll be informed of meet and greets, etc... I'm not sure if they do anything this early for new parents because my DS got in in early summer, but there were play dates and picnics right before school started. Best of luck! You'll be amazed at how excellent the program is.

We are also a LAMB family. WELCOME! There are only about 11 new families this year, so I don't know how many will be on DCUM. There are parent workshops at the school in early May that new families attended last year. We met a lot of people there. Looking forward to getting to know you.

Thank you so much! I can't wait to get to know the LAMB community. I agree that this site can be very negative. I have just started reading this site in the last 2 months due to the school search and I have been quite shocked with some of the postings and responses but I thought it was worth a try to reach out to other LAMB parents.

New LAMB parent here too! I also just started using this site during our school search. Looking forward to getting to know the school community as well, see you later this summer!

Any idea how far down the wait list they went last year? We're still hoping : )

Anyone hear about or think about a shuttle to the S. Dakota campus? WIth an 8:30 start time for primary, and bad traffic, I'd be interested. I'd even wonder if an 8 am shuttle drop off near the Missouri campus would make sense (the shuttle could take missouri to riggs to s. dakota).

We are also new LAMB parents and would be interested as well to find out if there are any shuttle or carpool options for getting to the South Dakota campus.

There will be no shuttle going from one location to the other.

Only option is to arrange carpools individually.

But I am a little confused as to which school I should choose between CHM@L and LAMB which I also got into through the lottery.
