Long term effects of chasing badge is when the league may actually count is that someone from non-league that has good coach will come and take kids spot on ECNL/GA team. And your kid who you thought was going to be good to go because he/she has so much time with club will be out on the streets hoping that at least Valor will give them shot at top team |
GA hats thinking this is a Disney movie. man, got a good pisser today with this |
I've never seen a GA hat before. I've seen several parents wearing ECNL hats. $10 bucks says their kid doesn't play on a top ECNL team. |
Parents wearing hoodies and sweatpants of an ecnl team are even worse |
Worse than that are parents wearing ECNL hoodies and sweatpants. |
I have no issue with a parent wearing hoodies, sweatshirts, underwear, and socks. As long as it's from the club that their kid plays for. |
Big booms!! Teams added GAA and DPL |
we understand the jealousy. I wouldn't want to wear a GA hat or hoody either so I understand. I mean, do they even sell those things in GA? wearing your daughters teams hoody, what's the problem? our club raises money off club gear that goes into a pot for families who can't afford to play. promoting your club is normal. magnets on your car, hats, t-shirts, and hoodies all part of supporting your kids club. |
They wear ECNL hats and hoodies and jackets that just say ECNL … not even their team … that is what people are making fun of. |
Why so big? |
Sarcasm? |
What the poster below you said is what I meant. A. You knew I was not jealous of a parent wearing a clothing item that simply reare "ECNL B. You likely had no reasonable defense for those people. Instead of not saying anything like a normal person you decide to be a jackass, like many individuals here, and and reply but use the we sell club merch to pay for our poor people. Oh what blessed saints your club is. C. If you really thought I truly meant parents who wear club merch, your reading comprehension is criminally bad. But you didn't. Did you? You're just a jackass with a bad response. Know how I know? You started out saying you wouldn't want to wear something GA. It seems you're reading comprehension is ok. You're just a jackass with a really bad reply, who tried to be witty and slick, but failed. |
Don't let the trolls get to you. This guy is likely wearing his ECNL hat 24/7. I wonder if he even remembers which club his kid plays for anymore. I've never seen a parent with a player on a top team wear anything other than items from the club their kid plays on. I have seen new parents that don't really understand the national landscape yet wear ECNLhats. I've also seen parents with players on super sucky teams wear ECNL hats. Overall it's just a weird thing to do. This would be like going to watch a Liverpool game and wearing an EPL hat.. First it's weird because you're at a Liverpool game it's where you'd wear a Liverpool item. Second it weird because it's a BASEBALL HAT + not something you'd typically wear in soccer. Just to put things in a litte more context it would be like wearing MLB hat to a Nationals baseball game. At least you'd be wearing a baseball hat to a baseball game. But I guarantee people would stop you several times asking where the restroom is and how to get to their seats. |
I loved the way my ecnl hat fit. Literally my favorite hat. And now after reading these comments it will never be worn in public again. I wish Nike would make that same hat with my kids club on it. Big club, good club, but not much merch. So today I go shopping for a new hat. You guys ruined my fit, for sure. |
No one cares what league or club logo you have on your hat or clothes and even dumb car magnet. Usually the parents that are all into that stuff, has a kid who is not very good. |
