I dont think you've accepted that times are changing and there's both high and low teams/clubs in both leagues. |
| Great point, but when top clubs like SLSG are forced to move to GA because their boys moved to MLSN, the scales will start tipping to ga and that’s the platform coaches will recruit from. Watching this closely… |
She's dead u sick f%ck. |
|
If your child is good, it’s not going to matter. You can’t just write off 20% of D1 players from GA committing now matter how much you might hate.
Again, I don’t see anyone here claiming GA is the better league. At the same time, while there has been a very very small change this year, nobody should be acting like GA is suddenly going to take over the top spot from ECNL either. My goodness, it was just few years ago that the DA folded and is also the only reason why ECNL is what it is now. Things change, often. |
GA hats now romanticizing GA's alleged accession to sucker more parents. cracks me up evey time |
| SLSG and Lou Fusz are joing MLSnext |
| That's old news SGSL, they were in MLSNext this past year... |
| SLSG has had MLSN, ECNL, and ECRL for boys |
Accurate. More reason why kids should chase coaching/club/fit vs badge, especially for non recruiting year age players. Landscape changes year to year. The switch from BY to SY change won’t be the only change next year. |
Agreed. Badge does not = Good coaching. There is a reason certain teams have more outsiders coming in vs. insiders holding position. |
Long term effects of chasing badge is when the league may actually count is that someone from non-league that has good coach will come and take kids spot on ECNL/GA team. And your kid who you thought was going to be good to go because he/she has so much time with club will be out on the streets hoping that at least Valor will give them shot at top team |
GA hats thinking this is a Disney movie. man, got a good pisser today with this |
I've never seen a GA hat before. I've seen several parents wearing ECNL hats. $10 bucks says their kid doesn't play on a top ECNL team. |
Parents wearing hoodies and sweatpants of an ecnl team are even worse |
Worse than that are parents wearing ECNL hoodies and sweatpants. |
