Yep. There is no support for ICE. Even my conservative friends are upset and pissed off. ICE will be defunded and its responsibilities will be moved to other governments agencies.

Well. . . there's multiple videos of ICE agents getting stuck in snow and not knowing how to get unstuck (civilians are not coming out to help like they would do with anybody else) and falling on ice. People in Mpls are also hoping for some seasonal weather to replace the extremely mild temps they've had.

I hold a research grant focused on vehicle ramming attacks, and I curate what I believe is the largest database of these incidents, more than 500 cases worldwide since 1987.
As a result, I have watched more video footage of vehicle ramming attacks than most people ever will.

That is why I am going to be direct about what the available video shows in the killing of Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis on January 7, 2026. Based on the publicly available footage described by multiple outlets, I do not see indicators consistent with a deliberate vehicle ramming attempt.
When authorities claim “she tried to run over an officer,” they are not just offering an interpretation. They are trying to lock in a narrative that justifies lethal force after the fact.

What I see, and what is being described in reporting based on video review, looks like ambiguity and escalation, not a textbook ramming attempt. Reports indicate the agent was not in the vehicle’s direct path when shots were fired, and that at least some shots were fired from the side as the vehicle moved away.

This matters because I know what ramming attempts look like when they are real.
Across hundreds of cases, intentional vehicle ramming attacks tend to leave a signature in the footage.
* A purposeful approach line toward a person.
* Commitment to that line.
* Steering corrections that track a target.
* Acceleration and follow through.

Those indicators are the difference between “the vehicle moved” and “the vehicle was used as the weapon.” When the state kills first and invents the threat afterward, it is not policing, it is death squad behavior.

While agents placing themselves near the front of a vehicle seems to run counter to FBI training, a 2013 independent review of Customs and Border Protection’s use of force policies, as well as more than a dozen cases in which shots were fired at vehicles, reportedly found an apparent pattern of Border Patrol agents intentionally staking out ground in front of vehicles to justify the use of deadly force. Of the cases reviewed, the independent agency found most cases “involved non-violent suspects who posed no threat other than a moving vehicle,” and concluded that “there is little doubt that the safest course for an agent faced with an oncoming vehicle is to get out of the way of the vehicle.”

Ross testified that he was a member of Border Patrol from 2007 to 2015. According to his own sworn testimony in December, Ross has also acted as a firearms instructor for ICE, as well as a member of a Special Response Team—ICE’s version of a SWAT team—and a leader of teams drawn from multiple federal agencies including the FBI.

According to Medellin’s December testimony, the plan, which was originated by Ross as team lead, was to just interview Muñoz-Guatemala; but because Ross exited his vehicle and soon drew his gun, Medellin told the court that he, too, unholstered his weapon to “provide coverage with lethal force.” The incident escalated as soon as Ross approached the vehicle, Medellin testified, because he believed Ross “had seen something that made him very uncomfortable and I wanted to be in a good position to support him.” Ross ultimately approached to break the window and got his arm stuck between the car’s B pillar and the headrest.

The fact that no other agents thought Good was a threat, proven by the facts that no other weapons were drawn and that the rest of the agents we milling around, is yet another proof point that Ross wasn’t in danger.
