| Anyone. Apparently a decision has been made. |
| Just goes to show you how tight that school is if you can't get them to spill the beans. |
| I thought they were supposed to release a location before the lottery deadline? |
| The lottery is on March 15. Today is the 11th... |
| I was referring to the common lottery. In case people weren't able or didn't want to move to the new mysterious location, then they could decide if they wanted to try for another school. But I suppose if there was a chance of this many applied anyway. |
| does anyone know if it is a temporary or long term location? |
| Long term. |
| But where is it moving? |
|
To the space IT vacated.
Just kidding. I have no idea. |
| They're moving to a vacant school in the Naylor Gardens neighborhood in SE. Kind of a far commute... |
| I heard ward 4, but close to the border with ward 5. Maybe technically near the current location, but not at all doable for my family. With my luck, it will be the only place we get into. |
yep, with a view to attracting more poor AA kids. |
If it wasn't clear the first post was a joke, that "clarification" definitely makes it clear! The LAST thing CM wants is more AA kids, and especially not poor AA kids! |
| The IT space really is a special place. The school did wonderful things with it and CM already walks to park across busy street (which was IT building's major set back) so walking 2 small residential blocks to a great renovated playground would be easy for them! |
| But the reference to the IT space was a joke, right? |
