Where is CM moving to?

Not far from Brookland/Edgewood, right? Near North Cap, but on the NW side, I think. Ugh. If they do move there, I am crossing it off my list.

If they are occupying the old space way in the back that a charter school once had, they will be moving again.

Why do you say that?

Why are folks ignoring this person who seems to know that they are moving to SE in August? If so, I'll be bummed because I live in SE and didn't bother to apply because I thought the school would be located in NW!

They aren't moving there.

The newly opened charter school at the time had trailers. It was a few years ago. Maybe CM will be using a building. I'm drawing a blank on the name of the charter school.

CM has a building, according to a parent I know there. Can't remember the name of it. (I think it's a pretty big complex.)

As far as I know the old soldiers home still has old soldiers in it.

Actually there are many empty buildings on the grounds of the Old Soldiers Home. Wow I was trying not to get too invested in any of the pie in the sky lottery schools so I wouldn't be too disappointed, but if they are moving right across from where we live, that's going to be hard.
If that's true I wonder if they would have access to a lot of the green space there. Golf, fishing, gardening and cyclocross in after care!

Do you mean it's haunted? Awesome! CM can add a Ghostbusters unit to their curriculum!

I know I read that the new MV location has vampires and such. Interesting that the new CM location is haunted. I think OSSE needs to look into charter school locations a little more closely.

Tell me about it. Think that at least 200 of the 1,000 people applying will drop off due to location?

You can count on at least one--my family. We are very close to the current location and thought of it as our top choice, but the new location isn't accessible to public transit and will be a nightmare for us, assuming the DCUM info is accurate.
