What schemes? What are you talking about? You are saying that Stars has more talent than Pride but for the schemes? Enjoy SSSAS privilege card. |
| True colors showing again. And you wonder why folks hate pride parents. |
Just calling out BS. |
| To be fair, everyone hates all the 2028 parents. That’s why so many others are on this thread, to be amused by your antics and throw shade. |
Garage. All of them garage. Enjoy Cap tryouts (already decided). |
In retrospect, it would have been a good idea to utilize some schemes with all that available talent. I guess the question is why did that not happen. Were the coaches and other leaders, who are some pretty influential people, actually incompetents? Or could the players just not process? |
No, some other G. |
Now Pride Dad is calling Stars’ kids stupid. |
No, just someone who likes to watch this 250 page train wreck. It is a legitimate question, though. The suggestion was Stars had "great talent" but was unable to utilize "schemes" the same extent as other teams. I am curious to know why they were not able to. I actually meat to suggest they were unable to physically process the schemes, but I suppose executing schemes is both mental and physical. |
| I don’t think Stars coaches/others are incompetent, nor do I think Stars players are too stupid. Running schemes properly requires having lots of players who are going to execute consistently. Hero’s, Coppermine, Crush, and M&D, for example, are better than Pride because they have more players who can consistently execute, and Pride is better than Stars for the same reason. I think it is definitely true there is some great talent on Stars; it’s just not as deep as the other teams I mentioned. |
What are these “schemes” that you speak of? If kids haven’t stood out by now what is miraculously going to happen in a 4 hour tryout? |

After all this progress between Stars and Pride, we have interlopers posing as “Pride Dad” spewing snark. Ignore the trolls.
Nothing changed with the weekend’s results in terms of Capital tryouts. Stars has a number of very strong players with a good chance at Cap Blue. And while Pride played well as a team, no new locks for Capital emerged. Most predictions by all rational parties have been pretty consistent: Pride and Stars will both have players make Capital Blue and, likely, at roughly a 2:1 ratio. Ones and twos from other clubs will provide the remainder. A more controversial take, but one I happen to agree with, is that if Pride is a top 10 team on its own, the combined group at Capital will be pretty good. And for the PP struggling with the word “schemes”, the reference is to offensive plays and defensive structures, not backroom dealings. |
God you sound like a do$che. |
Generally agree with this take, but would offer that practice, timing, and unselfish play all contribute to execution, along with talent level and player capability. Well said re Hero’s, Coppermine, and Crush, but I would offer that there is no strong evidence that present day M&D Black 2028 is better than the Pride team that played this past weekend. Better club? Sure. But last head to head was a tie. Comparative results against common opponents this season are pretty balanced if not leaning Pride’s way. |
Way to add value in a way that proves that you certainly are one. If you disagree with any points, make a case; if not, I’m not super-interested in your views. |
