| With the players HG has added, are they now better than M&D? |
How many have been added? |
Don’t you imagine M&D is adding too? |
I wonder why no one wanted to take the 2nd HG goalie spot. Seems like a good gig! Do you know why it might not have been appealing? Maybe so few goalies and it’s as simple as the ones they targeted are enjoying their current teams. |

As a PP pointed out, good players going to good teams don't make much difference because the player they replacing is already good. M&D's roster is filled with talent in all positions before adding new players. Heros Green on the other hand has good players, but they have positions that could use upgrades. Bringing in new players at those positions can make huge impact. |
| Hot take: Nothing says “we couldn’t develop talent” like the last minute before HS musical chairs. |

This is always the most idiotic take in my book. You can’t take every girl and turn them into something elite. Athleticism is athleticism. Lax IQ is sometimes inherent. Drive to be elite isn’t taught. Take Eliza Osborn from UNC. 5’10 and FAST. Game changing qualities. You can’t create that. Northwestern has arguably the best coach in college lacrosse. They had success this year with prominent transfers to being a draw specialist (Epke), goalkeeper (Cuocco), and goal scorer (Adamson). Go ask Kelly Amonte Hiller why she didn’t just develop what she had into an elite draw specialist, scorer and goalie. And she recruited her full team she was adding to, which local lax clubs don’t exactly do. |
