“The anti-abortion movement doesn’t care if women live or die—as long as they're forced to give birth.” - Sen. Patty Murray |
Smart woman. She’s right. |
WTAF? |
Isn’t this fun, finding out how much blood lust the average right wing extremist has for women?! Die, women, die!! Exploded fallopian tubes, septic uteruses, who cares about you and your dumb life? The culture of life wants your sacrifice. |
Wow |
What's "Wow" About? This is exactly what is happening across the country. The only upside is, soon we will have the photos, video and body count to prove that this is the cost of overturning Roe. |
We also have photos, videos, and body count of dead kids in schools and the GOP still pushes for the deranged and dysfunctional to have unfettered access to weapons of mass murder. I wouldn’t count on the outrage factor. The only bodies that will count are those of dead, blonde, young Republican mothers. |
All of this. They have been telling and showing you what they are and what they'll do. Believe them. |
Doesn't matter. Trump said he would appoint Supreme Court judges who would overturn Roe, and millions still voted for him. |
I don’t want to be too rosy but I think a number of people are more aware that Russia and their allies the Republicans and social media are happy to hack people’s brains for the benefit of the GOP, and in overturning Roe they ripped the mask off. How many pps in this thread and the ones before were in shock that the corrupt justices would just go ahead and do this? They didn’t see the GOP for what it was. They see now. |
+1 I can’t get over how blinkered and dumb some people are determined to be. My comment that the GOP wants women to die is spot on, and prove me otherwise, because I don’t see it. |
“According to state data, even before S.B. 8 half the counties in Texas were unequipped to treat pregnant women, lacking a single specialist in women’s health, such as an ob-gyn or a certified midwife. Multiple doctors told me that the overturning of Roe v. Wade, in June of 2022, exacerbated the crisis, as practitioners retired early or moved to states where they’d have more liberty to make medical judgments. So who, exactly, was supposed to handle the extra deliveries in women’s-health deserts such as Caldwell County? What would become of women in remote locales who experienced a hemorrhage or a ruptured fallopian tube?”

Pretty much. I think conservative women *think* they will get a pass and their life will be saved over their fetus. Nope. |
For those women I pray they “FO” after committing so much Republican-supporting “FA.” |
This is long but worth reading. It’s possible that a woman has already died due to Texas’s lack of care for women. OBGyns agree that this patient was so sick so early that she should have been offered a therapeutic abortion to end the pregnancy that killed her. No guarantee that she would have made that choice, but no one made it available to her so we’ll never know. |
