What's your family's favorite dinner?

I'd say ours is meatballs, I make them homemade in homemade sauce. Everyone loves them and eats them for days. It's the one leftover I feel they will eat all week. Meatball sandwiches, pizza, calzones

Second place would be steak or salmon on the grill and salad

chicken curry--trader joes red curry sauce, sliced chicken breast, with rice and fresh cilantro on top.

2nd place
pepper steak, braised slowly in pan
meat and green peppers, served over wavey noodles

I made something the other day that might become a new favorite:

I toasted some fennel seeds, and then added some fennel fronds and butter, set 1/2 of that mixture aside, and saute a chopped fennel bulb for a minute or two then add some water, cover and simmer until the fennel is soft.

Then use the other 1/2 of the fennel butter to cook some salmon, saute, then add water and cover and simmer. Serve salmon on top of the fennel bulb pieces.

I am on the hunt for a good meatball recipe. I just want to use chopped meat and not any pork. Plus I don't know how to, you know, cook them. Can you contribute? Also, how do you make calzones?

Jambalaya - we have a weeknight version with chicken and a couple of times a year we go all out and order shrimp from the Gulf.

Meatballs and chicken parm are also always a success.

Meatball mom, can you post your recipe? Thanks

I'm not meatball mom, but my family's favorite is also meatball night. I turn this recipe into meatballs and use hot chicken sausage instead of pork. http://allrecipes.com/recipe/chriss-incredible-italian-turkey-meatloaf/
