| If the individual is registered as living at an address, it is investigated by VSP (and Probation&Parole if he/she is on supervision). They would notice the school/daycare center/etc and ensure it was in compliance w/VA code (>500ft) before approving the residence. |

OP----as part of the safety plan, someone at each FCPS school needs to be signed up for the VA sex offender registry. I know because I'm the person who gets these emails for my school. I get the names and address for anyone whose address is within a certain range of our school.
Please go to the school/call and let them know you have a concern. Someone there should be able to check. |
