Pride had an easy schedule. It was ridiculous. Not sure how they always pull low level teams.

They should not have been in the playoffs as they were 2-0-2. Heros was 3-1. But Pride complained long and loud enough and the playoff bracket was changed 2 hours later.

Great tournament. They also beat STARs 6-2 to go to the final.They played well.

The tournament did a poor job handling the whole thing. Hero’s was ranked first in the division for a good hour before the playoffs started and then they switched it with no notice or explanation. Also, if you look at Genesis standings from last week, 3-1 was a better record than 2-0-2. Just very bizarre.

Without commenting about Pride’s play, Hero’s does have a real grievance. To be told you were advancing and make the girls wait for over an hour and a half while a new rule was constructed is just wrong (also, in what universe does 2-0-2 beat 3-1 - at best they are a tie and Hero’s owned the tie breaker). Terrible tournament management and I hope Hero’s never sends another one of their team’s back.
