Clearly, the tournament managers blew this one. This is the most compelling evidence that even they knew 3-1 trumped 2-0-2 as everyone knows. Give me a break. |
| I have nothing against Pride and clearly they are a very good team; having said that, Hero’s got screwed. Big time. |
It’s not hate when the tournament rightly ranked 3-1 higher than 2-0-2 just the week before. Pride would be going to court to get an injunction if the shoe were on the other foot. |
Pride is somehow able to manipulate NGLL scheduling, US Club Lax rankings, and now Think Lax tournament rules. Someone affiliated with the team has A LOT of juice. |
| The tournament corrected their error and Pride went on to win the tournament. They beat Aces in the final. Nothing was handed to them. The girls deserve the credit - end of story. Good luck to everyone in their next chapter of lacrosse. |
Except for the plain fact that 3-1 was ranked higher than 2-0-2. Tourneymachine does not lie. Pride played well but Hero’s had their spot stolen. Plain and simple. |
It appears genesis gave 5 pts for a win and 3 for a tie. Unusual scoring. Hopefully Genesis will follow soccer and give 3 pts for a w and 1 for a tie. That being said congratulations to Pride for winning their last tournament. A lot of prior teams mailed it in as they left for Capital. |
|
It looks like this scoring was applied consistently across every division in the tournament. Aces at 2-0-2 had more points than Crush at 3-1, for example. |
They clearly did not score games that way just the week before. Look, any fair minded person can see Hero’s has a legitimate gripe. I don’t care to take a shot at Pride because it has nothing to do with them. The tournament officials got this wrong. |
Or it got screwed up last week and they corrected it this week. Again, every division used the 5pts for win and 3 pts for tie this week. |
Whole tournament seems to be run by incompetents. Awful. |
| Did the GF mafia get control so their kids could win. |
|
Teams agree to the rules every year and the rules are the same every year at that tournament. Last week was a showcase other than the 25s. Origins actually tried to get in some of games in that were lost to weather, unlike LFTC.
Complain all you want but ties always are worth more than losses regardless of where you are. Next time? Don’t lose then you won’t have that issue. |
Cool story bro |
