I have like 10 N95 masks I bought for an emergency kit in 2014. I want to donate them but also worry we might need them if one of us gets sick. Family of 4. Don't have any other masks except the homemade (bandana etc.).

My neighbor has had cars and trucks outside her house every day these past few weeks. Plumbers, builders, decorators (all three different sets of folks). Also her kids are teens and they have been in and out with friends. And today - family has been arriving for Easter Sunday.

I wonder if she knows what "social distancing" means and if this risks the whole neighborhood getting sick?

The nurse at the cancer center where my mom goes for chemo told me I couldn’t accompany her inside for treatment, and when I started crying, she gave me a big hug in her PPE.

I scheduled a hair appointment for later this week to have my roots retouched and to have my eyebrows tinted. My stylist agreed to come to my home and I am doubling what I usually pay her.

The only "normal" would be if it were not the peak time of a pandemic. Nothing is normal about pretending life is normal when its not, its stupid and psychotic.

when our twins were little, I used to tell my DH I was going to the gym, drive to the gym, and take a nap in the gym parking lot.

Same here, except the people in question are my parents. They know full well they shouldn't be visiting with my brother, SIL, and their baby, and they do it anyway. The baby has also been around my SIL's family a lot and god knows who else. On a related note, I've always thought my brother and his wife were selfish assholes and this cements that theory.
