Quarantine Confessions (share yours here)

I have been waiting for an excuse to sample my bunker-food barrel.

I'm unemployed and depressed, so my confession is that I don't really see any difference from a normal Monday.

I'm literally sitting here with my work laptop open and checking emails that come in. I emailed two clients, rearranged a conference call and filed a couple of things electronically. That's it for the last four hours. I ate peanuts for breakfast. I did a face mask. I've been using my Macbook to surf the web all morning. I watched Youtube videos. A lot of them. I coconut oiled my legs. I swept the kitchen floor.

Some of my coworkers have said they're much more productive at home because of fewer distractions. I feel like there's a lot more to DO in the office. I'm doing nothing here at home. How wrong would it be to turn on the tv and just start watching?

Unless I have a big project, working at home is 2-3 hours of work and 5 hours of whatever the fck I want.

I've worked from home for YEARS and I think that's about accurate. But those 2-3 hours are productive!

Also give yourself a break - everyone is so distracted and frazzled right now, at best.

TBH it’s probably not that different than being at work.

People were checking twitter and emailing any hints of updates to coworkers and friends. This is big! Everyone is distracted!

I'm sorry OP

I've been in there, twice throughout my career. Last time was 2010-2011.

After my big healthy salad for lunch I had 2 mini donuts and some kettle chips that I bought when I went shopping. I'm gross..........

I have a large stash of chocolate and other processed junk hidden in a remote location in my bedroom. At the end of the day I will share some with the child I like the best aka whoever bugs me the least

OP here. I further confess that when I took my shower this morning, I thought "Probably won't take another one of these until I smell... see ya Wednesday, Shower Stall!"

Take this time to work on your eating disorder.

My kids aren't eating that much - maybe since they aren't being that active. So since it is just me and them we have a lot of food. I bought extra and I'm disoriented and distracted so my schedule has been 10am-2pm hang around eating it.

Plus I wish I had the plumber come a few weeks ago when I first noticed some bathroom drains getting clogged.

I’m really sick with something else and can’t leave the house to prep. Like there’s not much food left in the grocery stores.

We have a slightly later start to our day, without school drop-off/commutes. It's lovely.
