Yeah, that’s not how any of this is supposed to work. Supposedly DOJ launched an investigation into this after Sasse questioned Barr over it at his confirmation hearing. And a former SDNY prosecutor just clarified this morning that that non-prosecution agreement only bound federal prosecutors out of the Southern District of Florida where Acosta worked. No impact on the SDNY. |
