What religion are you, if that's your faith? |
Agree. |
Facebook friend posted how "proud" she was that her college aged son was out of state at this rally today. Yep, not smart enough to not get caught in a blizzard.
Probably going to seriously snuggle with some fellow co-ed marchers until the roads are clear again, leading to at least two kids dropping out of college next year. |
I'm pro-choice and pro-ultrasound! Most people in the us don't care. |
I'm pro-choice. I have children. I've seen (many) ultrasounds. I'm not sure why anti-choicers so vehemently believe the blurred ultrasound images one sees at the gestational ages when 90% of abortions occur are going to change anyone's circumstances or mind. |
I don't disagree that it's a child. It is, but an unwanted, non-viable child. It's a terrible situation that should be prevented (hello, birth control, education, etc), but that that basic right of choice shouldn't be taken away. |
So start worrying about the lives already here. There are plenty that need help. |
What is so wrong with taking responsibility for the life you create? If that risk is too great for your to handle, then don't create life. Immoral and irresponsible behavior is terminating the life that is growing inside of you because it is inconvenient in your life plans.
LOL. You just exposed the truth behind the "pro life" movement. Punishment. Shame. For your own version of immorality. And, I have a BIG problem with that. Also, you failed to answer the questions posed. Do you support easy access to contraception? Assistance to parents forced to carry children to term? How do you support those foster children who haven't been adopted? What's your position on the death penalty? Also, on a related note, these selfish people caused huge traffic problems today as people were trying to get out of town in advance of a blizzard. Shame on them. |
Unless and until you're a doctor that recommends the ultrasound as medically necessary, it's really none of your concern. Why do you think you know more than a doctor? If they don't need it, then it shouldn't be required. Your only purpose in wanting it is to guilt and shame the woman into having a child. Once you'll have no responsibility to fee, clothe, care for. But, I guess as long as the kid is breathing it doesn't matter that the parent doesn't want him/her, the kid may be living in poverty, etc., right? |
How about we force people to get ultrasounds before allowing them to buy guns?
It's about as relevant. |
The PP was being humorous and referencing a Monty Python movie. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Every_Sperm_Is_Sacred |
No, it's like the gun seller showing you how it looks on the inside when you open it. |
Maybe outside of the gun store they should have protestors carrying posters of Sandy Hook children. Wait - they should have CHILDREN carrying those signs. Oh wait - that would be disgusting and nuts. |
+1 My objection to ultrasounds isn't that I think it'll "prove there's a baby in there." It's that mandatory ultrasounds are given in this way with the express purpose of dissuading women from abortions. They're psychological weapons, not medical tests. |
If every life mattered they would have cancelled the rally due to the storm. Instead there are bus loads of people strange on the turnpike in Pennsylvania.
