is RKFJr's "Tylenol(TM) causes autism" just a shakedown for extortion money from the company?

They have not tested on pregnant women? 2019???

The makers of Tylenol do not recommend pregnant women take any over-the-counter medication without consulting their doctor.

But they actually said no testing had been performed on pregnant women. As late as 2019. That’s unbelievable.

They don’t do drug tests on pregnant women.

Wow. Corruption.

Please, pay attention.

Tylenol, the private company, has not themselves conducted those tests on pregnant women.

That does not mean the unbranded generic Acetaminophen hasn't been studied in pregnant women. JFC. People have been citing such studies throughout this thread.

Wow a fake Tylenol account with 124 followers. Why are you posting this stuff?

They are following 124. They have 14k followers. This is the official Tylenol x account. Whoopsiedoodles. Critical thinking not your strong suit.

That’s an awfully low number of followers. It’s fake.

Hey, bozo-essentially no medications are “tested in pregnant women” the way you mean. That doesn’t mean that no studies are done into the effects of these medications, it simply means you can’t get a bunch of pregnant women and start giving them either a medicine or a placebo and then see what happens.

We're talking about Tylenol and not acetaminophen simply because Trump has difficulty reading and pronouncing big words like acetaminophen. His talking points are probably full of pictures-- pictures of read Tylenol bottles, pictures of pregnant women, pictures of Dustin Hoffman in Rain Man, and with all of that, he tells himself a story like a preschooler making up a story with a picture book.

Because the highest quality studies on this topic that account for confounding factors do not show an impact, including one on over two million children. This is why ACOG still says Tylenol is safe to take as needed.

Fine with me. Take all the Tylenol you want. The more, the better.

It's a typo. But that's fine. It's a post that should have been edited.

Regardless, although the private company that makes Tylenol had no incentive to fund such studies, the unbranded Acetaminophen has been used in studies.
