It was a Northern California McDonald’s as a rising sophomore at Howard. She was so broke she needed to work at McDonald’s — but somehow could afford to transfer to a private college across the country. And her mom just got a huge promotion.

Harris said that she worked at McDonald's in Alameda, California. So, no wonder nobody in DC remembers here. Her childhood friend, on the other hand, does remember her working at McDonald's:

Peoples PP again. I was working there during college breaks while my dad was the CFO of a company that just had an IPO and my mom was an elected official. My parents paid my tuition/room and board but I had to pay for everything else including textbooks. This is/was not unusual.

During the same time Harris worked at McDonalds, I worked at a grocery store on Long Island in the summers (King Kullen, to be exact). I don't have any pay stubs and don't think I could prove it if asked. Somehow, McDonalds not being able to confirm Harris's employment is a big deal to Trump. I don't think people really care, though. If this is the biggest lie he can come up with for Harris, that's pretty sad.
