Agree. Biden just wasn’t prepared for Trump’s dirty playing sucker punches and blaming him for everything in the world. It started when trump arrogantly wouldn’t shake Biden’s hand or even look at him when they came on stage. I am sure trump was coached on psychology warfare tactics from his Bannon, stone & other ex con buddies. He was getting even for when Biden won the debate that cost Trump the election. Most civilized people are decent, respectful, with normal social graces but have no clue on how to deal with a smarmy alley cat. It stunned Biden and it was hard to recover but he did.

If what you say is true, and Biden can’t handle Trump, because Trump is so awful, how can Biden handle hostile world leaders? Putin, Xi, etc? Those men certainly are not decent or respectful. What about Kinm Jong Un?

If Biden can’t handle Trump, he’s not able to handle those guys. Game over.

Trump isn't going to handle them. "Putin can do whatever the hell he wants." - Donald J. Trump

Notice Putin didn’t invade Ukraine during Trump’s presidency. He waited until Sleepy Joe, who crumbles when someone doesn’t shake his widdle hand, was in the oval office.

He took all of Donbas without an eyebrow raised or a shot fired when Trump was president. Don't you get it? Trump is happy to "give" Ukraine to Putin. Putin tried to take the country by force in 2022 BECAUSE he had no other way ot trying to do it. So I suppose in a sense you are right, there wouldn't be a war there right now if Trump were in power, but that is because Trump would have let him march into Kyiv and then on to Warsaw.

How do these people not know that the Ukraine war was going on during all the Trumps presidency? It’s just amazing how poorly informed they are.

It means the coming week will be complete chaos. Intense maneuvering and palace intrigue is afoot. An historic party schism is threatening to erupt.

I smell panic.

The coming weeks will be the subject of one hundred books.

Agreed. He did better than I expected, but was still pretty bad. I imagine it’s good enough to give ammunition to the folks wanting to keep him in, but not good enough to bring back viewers who were distressed by his debate performance.

Another agreement. He did well enough to stave off the sharpening knives headed in his direction. For now. No one is impressed or reassured by the interview except the most delusional partisans but he did just well enough to perpetuate the awkward state of affairs. And it's not going to lead to victory in November either. The interview wasn't live, wasn't prime time, was filmed during his working daylight hours. This isn't letting Biden loose at a press conference or a college auditorium taking unscripted questions from the audience the way presidential candidates typically do. Nor does it answer any of the questions everyone is asking. What is he really like behind doors?

The Democrats don't have much time to save 2024. Each day that passes the harder it becomes. But the election is already starting to turn into an inevitable narrative that everyone will start believing in - one of Joe Biden's cognitive decline hidden from the public as far back as 2020 and enabled by the untrustworthy press and a corrupt Democratic party - a narrative that leads to Trump's election in November.

This. I can't help but think there is good reason why tonight's "interview" was set and handled in the manner it was. It was staged. It did nothing to reassure me but made me feel as if they are trying to manipulate Biden's situation.[/quot

That’s what we need to be waking up to. A lot of former MSM journalists that have gone independent paint an interesting picture and one that is frightening once you see it. For example, in MSM there was one narrative around Covid. It was very biased and did you notice t there would never be hard hitting investigations or stories pushing back on it. Then at the commercial break “brought to you by Phizer” it begs the question that if the MSM is bought and paid for (in this case pharma) how do we ever know if we are getting the truth of the matter?

It's crises like these when you know who the delusional really are. It's fascinating watching them.

Joe Biden is not fit to serve as commander in chief. Everyone other than the delusional knows this. That's why the NYT editorial board asked him to step aside. That's why Mark Warner of Virginia wants him to step aside. They are not delusional people.

On 18 April 2022, the battle of Donbas began, a Russian offensive in mid-2022 within the larger eastern Ukraine campaign.[95][96]

The battle of Donbas[6][7] was a military offensive that was part of the wider eastern Ukraine campaign of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The offensive began on 18 April 2022 between the armed forces of Russia and Ukraine for control of the Donbas region.[8][9][10] Military analysts consider the campaign to have been the second strategic phase of the invasion, after Russia's initial three-pronged attack into Ukraine.[11][12]

Date 18 April 2022 – September 2022 Location
Donbas, Ukraine

Russia's strategy in the sector was to encircle Ukrainian troops in the Donbas and to annex the entire Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts to the Russian-backed separatist states of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and Luhansk People's Republic (LPR).[13][14] Russia claimed to have controlled 55% of Donetsk Oblast by 23 June 2022[15][16][17] and all of Luhansk Oblast by 3 July 2022,[18] with Russian and separatist forces controlling the cities of Mariupol,[19] Sievierodonetsk,[20] Lysychansk,[21] Rubizhne,[22] and many others.

War in Donbas
Main article: War in Donbas (2014–2022)
Since 2014, the Donbas region had been the site of protracted fighting between Russian-backed separatists from the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics and the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the war in Donbas. Between 2014 and late 2021, the war had taken the lives of more than 10,000 combatants (including Ukrainian soldiers, Russian soldiers, and separatist combatants), as well as 3,095 civilians.[24]

On 24 February 2022, the Russian Armed Forces and the DPR and LPR launched a full-scale invasion of Ukrainian territory across numerous fronts, including in the Donbas. North of the Donbas, Russian and loyalist forces began fighting in the battle of Kharkiv, as well as numerous other smaller battles aimed at capturing key Ukrainian cities and towns. In southern Donbas, the siege of Mariupol began, which would eventually kill over 25,000 civilians and destroy 95% of the city.[28]

If Biden can’t handle the fact that Trump didn’t shake his hand, how does he handle belligerent foreign leaders? The lack of handshake or psychological warfare shouldn’t rattle the President of the United States.

He has been handling the belligerent foreign leaders just fine. Certainly better than Trump literally bowing to the NK autocrat or looking like a beaten dog after meeting with Putin.

Or telling the press that he believes Putin over his own foreign intelligence.

People have forgotten for some strange reason how terrible Trump was. Not me!

Liar. Russians didn’t take Donbas under Trump.

Liar pt. 2, feat Liar pt. 1.

Two arrogant liars. Lying liars and the constant lies they tell.

Go help the DNC rig the next primary, liars.

Filipkowski is an idiot.
Anyone who follow him or retweets him is the same.

Mike Lee, like other Senators, believe that if Biden is unfit to run for another term, he is unfit to continue as CiC.

Mike Lee, please. He had a bunch of senators sign off on not cooperating on any legislation when Trump was found guilty. The guy has zero integrity.

The fact that unelected staffers are running the presidency is why there are so many foreign policy crises right now. According to politico, it’s Jill and three of HER very junior people running the show. Nevermind that I did not vote for Jill or her stooges (ahem, democracy!!!). Kamala needs to take over.

I suspect the before and after hand shake thing was decided in advance by both sides, i.e. not to do them.

He seems to be doing a fine job of supporting Ukraine despite GOP withholding money for half a year (and Trump would just give Ukraine to Russia), getting the middle east players to the table (when Trump supports the eradication of Palestinians all together) and keeping the 20th Century world order, with the US at the top, intact, when Trump would simply turn it over to Russia and China.

It really shows the contortions of the right. There is a point at which they lose their heads from their tails.

Biden has been providing just enough to allow Ukraine and Russia to keep killing. That is all.
He was slow to act and didn't provide the actual things Ukraine needed to win.
This is a case of "$hit or get off the pot."
