Trump has said he’ll federalize the city if elected. Biden could lose the election. Showing the country that he can bring DC to order is helpful; letting DC Council make a mockery of us worldwide will certainly lead to Trump.

No it wasn't. The National Guard was prevented from doing anything because it was under Trump's command. The independence of the MPD was the only thing that prevented the coup attempt from being successful.

I'd bet Nikki Haley would do this too, and I'd far rather have her in charge. I'll support moderates of ANY party for DC government, and "I pick Nikki" for president. I hope independents and even Democrats out there are supporting her campaign. Trump, and as we've seen recently, even Biden have campaigns with fair potential to crash.

The talk at an important dinner last night was all about and clear on that Allen is over in Democratic Party. They have to let this term/recall play out, but he’s damaged goods and all the doors are closed to him. He’s finished.
