Another sex assault on a metro train - orange line again. Suspect arrested. Be alert and warn your kids. Gel pepper spray is the best type to use on a train.

Some are seeking asylum on the grounds of having an abusive boyfriend. Jeesh. That can happen here. |
How much do you want to bet that the perp jumped the turnstile and committed fare theft? Another reason to de-decriminimalize "fare evasion." |
Do you mean recriminalize fare evasion? Only DC decriminalized, over the objections of VA, MD and WMATA. Given how NoVA and MoCo are following DC's lead re: crime, esp juveniles, maybe their stance will change over time. Miss the 90s when WMATA was safer and more orderly, trains and buses. |

By statute, the board will return decisionmaking power to the city's elected officials after a series of four consecutive balanced budgets. |

At the very least, federalize the police now under a Dem President. Might help us keep the White House. The carnage under the White House windows doesn’t help the voters vote Dem
The Home Rule Act gives the President the authority to federalize the D.C. police department. |
What? Hell no. The only thing that saved the Republic on January 6th was that the MPD was not under federal control. |
