The Golden Bachelor

If Leslie doesn't want to be with someone who needs things explained, then she wouldn't have gone on the show. Right? That would be an issue on her side, not his.

I'm a protestant and know a lot about the Jewish faith & customs. Please don't assume all us Gentiles are clueless on the Jewish faith.

Also, am I the only person who finds it hard to tell Faith & Leslie apart?

Then you might want to skip the next episode.

* Raises hand. I don’t think either are his type, though. He seems to like brunettes, but these two have a lot of hippy/country vibe going on and that doesn’t seem like his lifestyle.

Sandra seemed great until we learned she skipped her daughter’s wedding for this. He didn’t seem impressed and he, not her, was the one suggesting they FaceTime with the daughter.

I find Theresa a little disingenuous tbh. She’s a securities dealer, for pete’s sake, so she wasn’t born yesterday when it comes to reading people and playing her cards. She should have known better than to brag about her date, but running to Gerry to complain about Kathy seemed straight out of middle school.

Kathy shouldn’t have taken Theresa so personally; she should just have rolled her eyes. Which makes her a sh!t stirrer who played the same game Theresa played, but Kathy lost.

Ellen seemed really genuine this episode but y’all are right, he’s not into her.

Can’t say I’ll miss April.

Who fell and then winked and said she was fine? And then showed up with a boot?

Would like to see Joan return, they seemed to hit it off.

Sartorial note: Theresa said they dressed themselves. But does that actually mean they pick their dresses off a rack at the hotel? Because they don’t actually know what events they’re going to attend until the day of. Unless the producers told them, “you’re going to need 10 evening gowns, a pickleball outfit, something to wear on the ATV just on case you’re the one out of 12 who goes on the ATV ride,” and so on. Can’t imagine them bringing all that stuff.

Two different women. April faked the injury, Ellen had a real injury that required a boot.

The woman he needs is a fellow midwesterner who likes that boating life. But in a show like this they are always too tempted to pick the hot ones who they aren't compatible with.

I was thinking that he’s not picking on look at all. He’s let most of the most beautiful women go.

I was thinking the same thing. Edith was gorgeous

(And whole Sandra seems awesome, missing your daughters wedding for this is not at all cool.).

It was a courthouse wedding - lots of people do those without their family. Chill out. I'm sure Sandra explained this to Gerry.

Regarding Sandra and missing the wedding, who knows what the real story is. Maybe she has been with this guy for 15 years, had 3 kids with him, and is now making it "legal"? Or maybe it's her 2nd or 3rd wedding? Sandra is 75, so the daughter is likely between 35 and 50+. We just don't know the story there or their family dynamic. (Or I don't, at least.)

Also, yes Gerry "suggested" they Facetime, but I'm still under the assumption that Production comes up many of the ideas and activities. (I know in the past, Production even picked the people going on the different dates on main Bach/Bach-ette shows.) Maybe Sandra had asked Production prior to the wedding day to have some sort of communication with the daughter and they told her "No."

Nancy (from Alexandria) was the one who needed the boot. She then self-eliminated.

Ellen is the pickleball player from FL who was teamed with Kathy on the green team, which won the tourney.

I was surprised that Theresa felt the need to go to Gerry and tattletale and act all hurt. What is she 12? I think that was petty, and she did misrepresent the conversation between her and Kathy, so that was very underhanded.

I think Theresa knows exactly what she's doing and she's not as sweet as she lets on. She's very calculating. A truly kind person would not have told Gerry the stuff she told him (some of which was a lie, especially the way she said it). Kathy was far too conservative. I really like Ellen for him, but I think he's going to choose Theresa because she's a really good actress.

Yeah the people who keep calling Theresa sweet are being bamboozled. She isn't clueless, she is playing the game.

Nancy had the boot and she left.

The only thing they have in common is brown hair!

Faith has dark brown straightish hair with bangs and has a "country" look about her.
Leslie's hair is highlighted and wavy.
Faith has brown eyes. Leslie's are blue.
Faith is average to cute. Leslie is sexy/hot.

Faith has had almost no screen time since the first episode. Leslie has had quite a bit.

I hope all the confused people here just have this on in the background while you’re doing other things. Because this really isn’t a hard show to follow.

Theresa is annoying and manipulative. If he picks her....he s in for it.
