These details are important ... sometimes a horrible case leads to a positive change in the law.

Was there really no outward sign that she was at risk of harming others?? I believe what you are saying but it is just hard to believe that the person who was caught to relatively easily was successful t concealing everything in the past.

What is important to note is that situations can worsen over time and that sometimes telltale signs of trouble are not enough to limit another’s actions or restrict freedoms. I have known Eleanor going back since early childhood and I can say that never in my wildest dreams would I have predicted this. In high school, Eleanor was no different from anyone else; however, during my later college years, I learned she was diagnosed with some mental conditions and signs of mild deviant behavior were forming - but none of this though was alarming especially in any criminal sense. Fast forward to about five years ago when the public sex charges are filed and you’ve got major red flags. That kind of conduct is nothing kids should be around and alludes to an environment where risk taking tendencies are prone to unfortunate outcomes. Eleanor’s family recognized this and took action - but their power and influence could only go so far.

My hope in all of this is that Eleanor is properly dealt with by the law and that her family is not unfairly judged or unduly punished by their peers. As Greek tragedy would say “men are only men” and her family did what they could with a very bad situation.

I'll refrain from assuming the "worst"--that somehow the family caused this behavior. Given your timeline, though, it sounds like they were not paying enough attention in the past five years. It seems that everyone missed not just signs after the "major red flags" but very likely other criminal acts. I truly hope, for the sake of her daughters, that what you are implying is that they successfully protected their young family members. With all my heart, I hope that this is true. But it is hard to believe that more could not have been done to protect others.

Her LinkedIn page shows that all of her jobs in the past 5 years or so only lasted for a few months. Like a series of 3-4 month stints. Wonder if there were red flags at work, too.

This is either a troll or some PR BS. But if you want to go there about what her parents and brother have done and not done over the years we can go there. We can start with the stealing of a prescription pad and writing narco prescriptions, and several allegations of assault (that were true). Mr. Hunton took care of those and magically made them go away, but we remember and so do a lot of people. Just like he helped Eleanor get that 2019 Chesterfield charge thrown out. And just like they all looked the other way while she volunteered at several places involving children, including their school.

I live in RVA, had a daughter who went to St. C's and have always been fascinated by this dark/criminal side to some of the people raised here and how much damage they have done. No one in Richmond has written about this which is a very Richmond thing to do. Coverups are big here. Richmond and C'ville's country clubs are chock full of felons of the worst kind.

I don’t know this woman at all but I used to work in disability law and that is very common for people with schizophrenia or bipolar. They can present very well initially at a job interview but inevitably end up causing weird conflicts with coworkers or clients that usually leads to a termination pretty quickly, or they just quit because they feel aggrieved about something that typically would not have been a big deal with with someone who did not have a mental illness.

The extreme promiscuity in college also suggests former sexual abuse to me. Most college women aren’t running a trademarked BJ factory. I think this all looks very different from the G Maxwell situation which was the more traditional woman pimping girls for money/power scenario.

I’m not trying to excuse any of this—she should go to jail pretty much forever and ever have access to children again.

If her parents were trying so hard to help her and protect the grandchildren like a PP claims, I would think that they would be pleading with her to get her FB password to take down her FB photos.
