Is this map supposed to convince me that there are a lot of areas that don't get airplane noise? Are you drunk? The map is almost all red and blue!

That map’s obliterated most of the neighborhoods in question with the red flight path lines. It also clearly shows that most of the rest of DC is completely unaffected.

I’m sure you’ll share an alternative reading. It’s wrong but I welcome your opinion.

Did you all grow up on a farm in Idaho? You live in/near the helicopter capital of the world. Obviously there will be city noise, airplanes, helicopters. If you don’t like it, live elsewhere.

It really more peaceful to live outside the flight trajectory in Logan Circle than it is in the Palisades or along MacArthur?

It’s very simple: there are neighborhoods you should be sure to be ok living in because the residents will make it very difficult to recognize the extreme situation for what it is: an unprecedented flight path and a potentially highly dangerous environment.
