Awww, get some sleep and feel better! I’m sorry for my post then. I’m just happy the candidates that participated in the insurrection lost. |

I’m feeling so much better this morning

A lot of West Coast votes haven’t been counted. When all the votes are in, Democrats will have more votes nationally. |
What does “tougher on crime” mean? |
| Fox saying one of the services has called Wisconsin for Johnson (R), although Fox has not. |
| I can’t feel very good just seeing the sheer number of people who voted for Hershel walker. I just can’t understand why anyone could vote for him. Except maybe racists who are deliberately trying to pick the worst Bladk candidate they could find to make Black people look bad. His numbers make me super depressed about democracy. I absolutely don’t get it. |
| Georgia SoS office is saying that the Senate race appears to be headed to a runoff. Is that good or bad news for Warnock? |
How is this hard to understand? It’s party loyalty. Probably how you vote too! |
|
I can't believe (well, actually, yes I can) that Trump blew three Georgia senate elections. Georgia is a red state and very winable. But Trump told MAGA not to vote in the 2020 runoffs because "rigged" election, or something. Both Democrats won. Then this year, he props up a rocks for brains ex-football player with no experience...and he gets beat! And because of that, Democrats are still going to control the Senate.
Trump is poison. |
I think that depends in part on what happens in AZ, WI and NV. If Ds get two of those, they have senate control no matter what. I think Warnock is a lock in that case because the libertarian voters likely just won’t come out. If the runoff is for control, then a lot of those libertarian voters will shift to Walker. |
Warnock hasn't won yet, so let's not count our chickens. But the larger point is that I can't believe that Republicans have not dumped Trump yet. It has been obvious for a very long time that he is an anchor around their necks, but they just won't get rid of him. The smart ones like McConnell realize it, and they even had the perfect opportunity to turn on him after Jan. 6, but they inexplicably didn't do it. |
+1 Only one party supported more funding to local police forces and it wasn't the GOP. Only one party wants to get some of the most lethal weaponry off our streets, and it isn't the GOP. |
|
There are enough votes left in GA for Warnock to win and avoid the runoff.
