I'm not "aghast" but the difference is this: Youngkin ran for governor of Virginia and no small part of his campaign was about public school education in Virginia, which his family does not participate in. And yet, he can drive that agenda, appoint board members, etc. And we're seeing a lot of this - people that don't believe in public school education but do believe in a lot of regulation of public school education.

Jackson, like Kavanaugh, Gorsuch, Barrett, and others, is an appointed judge that can only rule on matters under her jurisdiction, "matters" usually being interpretations of law, promulgated by the legislative branch of government, that are also brought before her - i.e. - passive.

It's two entirely different things.

As suspected, that's some impressive pretzel-twisting. The Supreme Court absolutely can rule on matters concerning public schools: Plessy v Ferguson?? Brown v Board of Education?? Engel v Vitale?? So they were not asked about being white.

BK has issues. His face looks like that of a drunkard. He was able to act out and have a temper tantrum, because he’s a white man. He doesn’t have a good and even temperament. A Supreme Court judge should do better.

AB and KJB do not have the luxury of being able to tantrum.

Hopefully, we’ll have additional qualified people added to the court in the future.

I don't give a fig what either do with their kids, but I assume it has to do with Youngkin running on wresting control from schools and spouting on about things and his kids don't attend the public school system he is constantly criticizing. school. He can actually have an impact on Virginia school policy.

Where judge Jackson's kids go to school has no immediate bearing on her qualifications as a judge

These are false comparisons and I think you know this.

I'd also like to remind people that the ford-kavanaugh hearings were separate from his confirmation hearings. He was asked those questions because it was a special hearing on a fact finding mission. So this whole thing that he was grilled during his confirmation hearing about beer and yearbooks is incorrect. He was grilled during a special session.

If KBJ is accused of something, I am sure they will have a special separate hearing for that as well before confirmation
