I have no idea what that means. But it is pretty clear that these trucker protests taking place world wide are coordinated.

Interesting, isn't it, that "honorable" is spelled the American way?

Reference to Red Dawn, to the HS students that resisted the Russians.

Remember a few things, though:
1) Russians will try and glom onto existing movements.
2) Russians had all sorts of groups in the runup to 2016: left-wing groups, BLM groups, and I wouldn't doubt for a minute that they're trying to create left-liberal groups. I'm not sure where their innocuous meme posting groups played into their masterplan.
3) My point is that they cannot do bupkis without tapping into veins of already-present discontent. Dismissing this, or anything as "just Russian pyops" is overly glib/facile.

Highly suspicious that someone accusing others of being foreign agents would miss this cultural reference.

I never saw Red Dawn, sorry. If you want to ask me about Star Wars, or Star Trek, or Fast Times at Ridgemont High, I can cultural reference with the best of them.

So far this has been a great demonstration of the impotence of government when it tries to impose restrictions on an unwilling populace. Surprised that Trudeau hasn’t found a way to back down with some shred of dignity left.

Meh, it's a 40 year old movie at this point.

I have no doubt this was always the playbook. They came out of the gates saying they would settle for no less than everyone in parliament resigning. The tucker vaccine mandate thing was just a cover to gain sympathy/support, and money. The mandate was moot the something like a day after the convoy left BC, as the US was requiring double vaccination for entry effective that day anyway.

Oh please there have always been crazy right wingers trying to do this sort of thing. Remember the Malheur Wildlife Refuge in Oregon?

I think that people who harass homeless shelter workers and volunteers are assholes, that’s what I think about it.

So ask yourself why* the Russians found such fertile fields among the GOP and continue to do so. Why is Tucker openly pushing Russia’s talking points? He’s hardly the first. Yes, Russia tried it on among the Democrats, too, but they didn’t find near as much success.

*I would guess it’s related to Bulls*it Receptivity.

Floyd protest was over policing that killed people. The trucker posters is trying to overthrow the government. Canadians will send in the troop soon and restore order.

A lot of Canadians, and others, slowly started to realize their government doesn't actually represent their interests anymore.

Trudeau could have met with them on day 1, lifted the mandate and everyone goes home happy. The fact that he didn't take the easy win speaks volumes.

Lol at you defending “give us what we want or else” as some sort of appropriate stance. Fascists are nuts.

Not sure how Canadian laws play out, but if I were the government, I'd notify the banks who own loans on these trucks that they're about to lose property securing their loans. No way do these chucklef**ks own these vehicles outright.
