Just got the CogAT scores today

Anonymous

Age rank Local Rank
Verbal 139 99% 99%
Quantitative 146 99% 99%
Nonverbal 132 98% 95%
Composite(VQN) 146 99% 99%

Never went thru this before. Not sure if this is good enough or not? We don't have any recommendation letters or work samples to submit. Should we do the parent questionnaires?
Thanks

If you are going to brag, just brag. It is okay.

You should have posted those scores with a big "WHOO-HOO!" at the end.

That would be far less annoying than what you posted.

Congratulations to your kid by the way.

Congratulations. They are very good scores.
I don't see 1st post is annoying. Don't know why some people feel so offensive see other's better scores.

Congrats, that's excellent, but you are low class. My DC got in as well, but I would never post this. I think you know Thur are good scores.

The post was not annoying.

The line about "do you think these scores will be good enough" is annoying. The kid had outstanding scores. Why make a joke or a snark to others about it?

OP is annoying b/c it's OBVIOUS that the scores are "good enough" when they are 99% across the board. If that isn't obvious, then I think OP did not contribute genetically to the child who obtained the 99's.

Calm down, people!

Did not mean to offend anyone.

What I meant to ask is "not sure are these scores alone good enough to get into AAP without any optional materials prepared?"
Calling people 'low class' for this kind of question is not that 'high class'...

17:36, what is the composite (VQN)?
Anonymous
.My DC had Nnat of 110 and CoGATs 112, 115, and 108. Should we parent refer with these scores? DC seems to work ahead of fellow second graders.

17:41, 133 is the composite

This is a fair question. CogAT scores alone is not good enough to guaranttee admission of AAP if gbrs is very low. They will still look at others such gbrs, report cards or others.

Congrat...these are excellent scores. If GBRS is not too low (>10), you should not need to prepare other materials.

Will GBRS be sent out soon?
