You should have posted those scores with a big "WHOO-HOO!" at the end.

That would be far less annoying than what you posted.

Congratulations to your kid by the way.

Is there nothing that doesn't annoy you? Sheesh. It's really your way or the highway, isn't it?

Quantitative 146 99% 99%
Nonverbal 132 98% 95%
Composite(VQN) 146 99% 99%

Never went thru this before. Not sure if this is good enough or not? We don't have any recommendation letters or work samples to submit. Should we do the parent questionnaires?
Thanks

You must be new to DCUM if you don't know that these are excellent scores and that posting your question this way would raise a firestorm of criticis. If you're not new to DCUM and you just wanted to stir the pot, you've achieved your goal.

Answering your question in the spirit in which it was (presumably) asked - the AART at my kid's school says parents should ALWAYS complete the parent questionnaire. On the other hand, I know a parent who did nothing and the kid got in based on just the scores, the GBRS and the school-submitted work samples. It's your call how much effort you want to put into it.

NP here. It annoyed me too. Clearly the poster new what the scores meant. They are accompanied with a letter of explanation and even if new to the area, would have to have some knowledge of DCUM to end up here and then post here. Wasn't a veiled brag...was simply a brag. Annoying to no end. No, not sour grapes or jealous. My kid is I the pool. Would rather have a very well rounded child than a one note one. I'm NOT saying yours is one note, but for me, the scores aren't what make my kid special.

which percentile ranking we should look at? my son's age percentile is V:92, Q:96, NV:96, and VQN:97 and the scores: 122, 128, 128 and 130 in the same order. are those scores considered to be good for center or OES level IV?

What is OES level IV?

If you have time to read this forum and write this post, then I think you have time to find some work samples.

Disagree. Isn't an IQ test.

Thank you for your respond and info. Finally have someone acting normally and answering question instead of criticizing. I am new to DCUM. It was my 1st post here in DCUM. Anyway this is a wrong place to ask any question. Those people who criticized have no knowledge and capability to contribute any valuable info anyway. Good bye DCUM and no more wasting time here. I am going to give my DC a big hug and kiss and working on the parent questionnaire now...

Not saying it is but a very high correlation. Wouldn't surprise me a bit if s/he has very high IQ.

I'm sure it would put surprise you. You've already deemed your child brilliant. Who needs a test, right?

Looks to the committee like you prepped the hell out of the NNAT.
