I hate to exercise! Which kind do you do?

I hate exercising not fun, what do you do and for how long?

All I do is walk, between 2-4 miles daily, takes about 30-35 minutes to do 2 miles

Run to places I need to go: bank, postoffice, grocery (walk back with backpack).

But really, once you establish the routine (I run 2 mi per day incl weekends, and lift handweights before bed), it is not a problem, in fact you kind of crave it.

Rowing. Great to get out on the river and to be part of a team.

I take classes at my gym. I hate using the equipment. The classes are fun, I love the loud music and you just follow the teacher. Great work out and fun!

Zumba! Super fun and you burn a ton of calories. You can do low impact by not jumping and you will still get a good workout.

Swimming laps. It's easy on the joints. I also try to walk a couple of miles at least twice a week so I get some weight bearing exercise. I can't stand classes and gym equipment.

Walking, yoga (Hatha or Integral), and deep water aqua aerobics, golf. Wii Fit is fun.

Calisthenics--push-ups, squats, planks. I just ordered a pull up bar.

I also want to play racquetball if I can talk someone into doing it with me.

PP here-- I walk for 30+ minutes, depending on weather. Yoga class is 90 minutes, and aqua aerobics is 45.

I also like to ride my bike in nice weather--not vigorously, but just sort of put-put around the neighborhood like when I was a kid.

If you keep it up long enough, it does get better. I enjoy bicycling, but I deal with winter exercise by listening to podcasts while I'm on the elliptical or whatever. It does help.

I like Zumba. Also took Bhangra dancing through my local rec center and that was really fun and I actually worked up a sweat.

I walk my dog. Want to play tennis, but can't find a partner who's a bad player like me but just wants the exercise. So me and Fido are it for now.

I hate to exercise. So I do it with a friend or neighbor. Keeps me accountable and doesn't feel like exercise. We run.

I like to exercise, but I am ADHD girl. Stuff that is fun to try: ballroom dance class, Zumba, yoga, tae kwon do, swimming, canoeing, walking, hip hop for adults
