DA vs ECNL vs everything else

Opposite ends of the earth as far as commutes go. Only know of one family from VA that commutes to Baltimore for reasons unknown to me.

Tom Torres is a good guy and has put together a good staff. I enjoy the experience.

Some of it depends on the motivation of your question and what do you mean by well run.

Well, the motivation is we are considering both for my daughter. Nothing devious. What do you think my motivation is? Geez.

We are in Montgomery County and commute times are similar if I have practice locations correct. I have been hearing VA side is better run. What I have heard from a former parent that the BA side has been having trouble with fields and practicing 4x a week. VA side has better communication and organization. BA side is more competitive. Coaching on both are great. That's what I've been hearing. Is this true?

Opposite ends for you. People do live in between. It's called Montgomery County. A million people.

I should add that I trust what I hear on the BA side but don't know if it is any better on the VA side. I don't know anyone there. This is what this board should be about. Not club puffery.

Where are VA practices held?

BA practices held at Covenant Park I believe. (SAC facility)
From what Ive heard from parents, VA side definately has better communication and organization. Coaching for 06s is TBD, but not hopeful.

Nobody from the other club knows what the others is doing. We don't interact. We are two different clubs under one umbrella. No one can say which one is better run unless they experience both. All I can tell you is that the VA staff is positive and it's a good environment.

Well, like soccer, you don't have to eat any of it, but you also don't have to care if somebody else does.

Thanks for entertaining me. I must go now.

Bye sheet cake

Bye Jason

Brahahahahaha! That's hilarious!!! . I won't pretend I agree with your line of thought, but the banter...ahhh yes the banter! Well played!

What do you mean by Coaching for 06 not hopeful? Are you talking about BA or VA? BA has announced coach:

I am assuming VA will do the same soon!

Motivation meaning, are you contemplating both or are you just curious about the dual club structure?

Not sure what you mean by more competitive. Are you referring to chances of getting selected to a team for a specific age group for next year?

The records of the current teams are available online. The current WS VA U16/17 team is a wild card for playoffs.

WS VA picked up a lot of new talent for next year and will likely be even stronger.

I am considering both clubs for my daughter...meaning she may play for them. Now do you have something constructive to add?

I looked at the I14 and U15 results. Based on that, BA seemed more competitive. I heard there is a lot of turnover in both clubs in the younger age groups. Can anyone quantify it for U14 and U15?

A lot of turnover for a club that has existed for one year? The general discussion for how many kids have left and come is available several pages back. They do not need to be rehashed.
