I shouldn't even respond to your rudeness and smarta$$ comment. I don't spend my time looking at the small patches on the uniforms to see exactly what they say. I spend my time watching the game not reading the uniforms. But I do look at the schedule in Playmetrics to see the team listed there. So, I was going by what was listed. Thank you very much.

Stop responding to these idiots. They are just mad because Loudoun lost to VRSC 4 times today.

Sure does seem like a ton of NVA parents be on here reading about the Revolution pathway to dominance.

How bout you stay on your LS/NVA drama board.

We got a bar to celebrate our wins against whatever team you guys bring into our palace…where your home at..hahahaha

Viva La Revolution, only the strong will survive

Your Northern Virginia Alliance is nothing more than a money grab for what used to be an ECNL team…who are you 8n an alliance with….hahahaha no one from Loudoun feeds your team, Valor is gone, GFR is gone…

Most NVA parents just upset they lost their ECNL badge…here at Revolution every day is better than the last..

We are the future, you are the past. Soon we will be in first, your sad ex ECNL WILL BE EATING….well you know 😂😂😂

Oh really? Have you even read what some other buffoon parents and coaches write here? Just the previous page alone is comedy gold. I especially urge you to have a look at thr middle age white guy who thinks he is a rap star, essentially typing in "black face."

Playmetrics, so even your club doesn't know who they are playing then too? You have no problem throwing fake bravado out there but when you get caught you cry foul? Stop with the whoa is VRSC stuff.

Anonymous wrote:As a parent of a VR player, I don’t have any issues with the coaches or the program itself. What I did realize this weekend, however, is how misleading the MLS Next branding can be for families. I spoke with several parents who thought they were joining an MLS Next team, not MLS Next 2.

Looking more closely, it’s clear that VR and other clubs are presenting themselves as MLS Next, even when they’re not. I understood this distinction before joining, but seeing the MLS Next patch on my son’s jersey drove home the point—MLS is blurring the line between the two leagues. In doing so, they’re helping clubs grow and, intentionally or not, quietly blending the leagues. The strategy is working too, given that our team is made up almost entirely of new players from other clubs. So much confusion!

Not confusion, intentional deception on the clubs part hoping parents don't do the deep research. Otherwise the clubs would be upfront on what you are buying into.

My son is also on the MLS Next Academy (that is the new name MLS Next has given instead of 2) with many new club members. We were told at a meeting and through an email exactly what the team was, and it was also explained before tryouts what the team was. So, no misleading on VRSC's end, but I do agree with you about the patch and MLS Next not making a clear distinction.

What about the PRE MLS NEXT.. is that marketing? False advertisement? Or what?

VRSC U14, U15, U16, & U17 teams won against NVA. U13 and U19 lost. Not a bad start to the season and new league.

You mean Loudoun, not NVA. VRSC played second teams consisting of kids who can’t make NVA. NVA has real MLS Next.

I can see why MLS Next did this. Striver parents love to tell other people their kid plays MLS Next and hope no one understands the difference.

Excuse me, that is how it was on the schedule, my mistake. No intentions of grandeur .

Where is the schedule?

I don’t have a kid at either club but I was curious after you said NVA, so I looked up the schedule and it clearly said Loudoun vs. VRSC. So someone from your club either doesn’t understand the difference or intentionally put in the wrong name to make it sound better. Either way it’s strange.

I am no fan of Loudoun or VRSC. Have been at games and outside training things with parents from these clubs, and they stress me out. So much intensity and over-investment. It makes no sense for the boy parents to be this way considering the overwhelming odds that their child’s soccer “career” will end in high school.

VRSC put the schedule in playmetrics as a game against NVA?

Now why would they do that, when the teams play in completely separate leagues? No VRSC team would ever be playing any NVA team in league play.

Your story doesn't make sense.

Was this parent so clueless they actually thought they were playing a completely different team?

The jerseys say Loudoun on them, lol.

You can select by team and age group to look up each schedule. It very clearly says Loudoun LOL.

VRSC is playing Loudoun two more times this year, so PP has plenty of chances to get it straight! BTW is it normal for the same teams to play each other 3 times a year? Seems repetitive compared to ECNL RL.
