Pregnant by ex-DH

We have been divorced for 2 years now and have dated others during this time. We currently have three kids together under the age 10, so this will be our 4th. Both are great parents but not great spouses. We discussed options and decided to keep the baby. I've been beating up myself over this for even hanging out with him again, but dating him is better than being his wife if that makes sense. Guess I have to give up on the dating scene now.

Okay. Is there a question here, or did you just want to share that in 2014 and with kids neither you nor your ex-husband are well-versed in how birth control works?

It's def his and we both know it. I've been on dates but it was just that, dates. This is why I'm pregnant now, two years without sex!

I guess so. Growing up and taking responsibilty for your actions, let alone the 4 kids you've created, would be another good plan.

You should get back together. At least for a couple years. You have confirmed to any future guy that you will continue to bang your ex and who wants to walk into that?

I don't know that you should get back together. My parents couldn't live together, but they could be good friends when they were apart. They could also co-parent effectively when they were apart. I never asked if they were still having sex, because I didn't want to know. We took family vacations together with both divorced parents. It worked fine for them.
