Disney - March or early April to be able to enjoy pools as well?

Also considering costs, crowd and weather in General, what is the best option? Child is 4, we will be driving and spending around 10 days (including driving day).

Also, I will be around 27/28 weeks at the end of March. If I go in April, it would be around 32/33weeks.

Ps, I definitely want to avoid spring break.

There are many WDW calendars out there to help measure attendance. I like this one because I like the color coding which makes it easier to read:
http://www.dadsguidetowdw.com/crowds.html

Colors in order (smallest crowds to insanely large crowds): Green, Blue, Yellow, Orange, Red, Purple, Black

For pool weather, March averages in the high 70's and April averages in the low 80's almost 5 degrees warmer. March is kind of chilly for pool weather, and April is much better for pools.

Based on your criteria, I would suggest April 9-18.

That would be Spring Break for some schools, which OP wants to avoid.

OP, so your baby is due in June?

If I were you, I would wait until after the baby is born and go in late September/Early October.

Crowds will be low, the weather will still be warm enough for swimming, and they will even have the special evening Halloween party.

I have brought an infant to Disney World before and it was actually easier than going while pregnant!

OP here. I have thought about it, but I want this trip to be some sort of baby moon with our only child. I want to have this last experience/trip while it is just the three of us

Then the next best time is March 1-12 which is before most people's spring break, but it would be too early to really enjoy the pools. You can enjoy them if they have heaters, but many pools in Orlando don't have heat. At that point, the average lows in the evenings is in the high 50's in March and the water says very cool, too cool for most people so you are basically ruling out the pools. In April, the evening temps are into the 60's and you just have to avoid the early morning hours. By about 11am, the pool water heats up enough to be comfortable.

WSW low attendance is March 1-12 and April 9-18 and April 22-30. Pool temperatures are only realistic in April. And March 13-April 7 the crowds are Disney are big and you will get only get to see/do half as much in the parks. OP is going to have to compromise on something.

Op here - I think I will plan to go on late April. On April 22 I will 32w - perfect! Thanks everyone!

We went in late March/early April and it is PERFECT. It was plenty warm enough for the pool every afternoon, but you could enjoy the parks without drowning in sweat or tropical rain. It wasn't crowded because it was pre-Spring Break. Sunny every single day. Heaven. I'll pull my kid out of school every damned year to go at that time!

PP 2:01/13:35 here. I didn't think you were considering late April because of your pregnancy. Glad that was an option, it really is probably the best option. Enjoy yourself!

I just saw that Easter will be on April 20, so the week of 22-30 is out because I would miss one weekend.

What about April 25 to May 03/04? I would be 33w. Is that ok? I was feeling great at 33 weeks last time (In fact, we visited Disney when I was 28-29w). Does one week makes a lot of difference?

I'm telling you, OP - late March/early April. Keep pushing it back and it will get hotter and hotter, more crowded with various Spring Breakers, and you will get bigger, heavier and more tired. Don't do it!! We met locals at the park in late March last year who told us it is the best few weeks of the year in terms of weather and crowds.

FFX spring break is April 14-19, but that does not appear to be a busy week based on the dubious link above. How can that not be a busy week?

A lot of this will come down to weather luck. I've been the first week of March and swum, I've also been the last week of April and found it about my limit for muggy and hot in the afternoons (high 80s, got to 90s one day), given that I was pushing a stroller. (Not, like, DC-in-August hot and muggy - just non-ideal for being out and active all day.) In other years early March might have been too chilly to swim and late April perfectly pleasant.
On the other hand, March discounts just expired and April discounts should be coming shortly, so from a cost point of view late April might be a better bet, if you're planning on staying on-site.

Agree on the weather. We went last week of April 2 years ago (when Easter was much earlier so crowds were low), and we froze the first few days, as in buy a $50 Disney sweatshirt for everyone because the light spring jackets weren't cutting it. And we were still cold. Then the last couple days it was 90. It definitely approached uncomfortable touring the parks those 90 degree days. We're going the same week this year, leaving the day after Easter because my kids are in school now. If I were you, I wouldn't want the 90 degree days if I was 32 weeks+.
