A lot of this will come down to weather luck. I've been the first week of March and swum, I've also been the last week of April and found it about my limit for muggy and hot in the afternoons (high 80s, got to 90s one day), given that I was pushing a stroller. (Not, like, DC-in-August hot and muggy - just non-ideal for being out and active all day.) In other years early March might have been too chilly to swim and late April perfectly pleasant. On the other hand, March discounts just expired and April discounts should be coming shortly, so from a cost point of view late April might be a better bet, if you're planning on staying on-site.
Agree on the weather. We went last week of April 2 years ago (when Easter was much earlier so crowds were low), and we froze the first few days, as in buy a $50 Disney sweatshirt for everyone because the light spring jackets weren't cutting it. And we were still cold. Then the last couple days it was 90. It definitely approached uncomfortable touring the parks those 90 degree days. We're going the same week this year, leaving the day after Easter because my kids are in school now. If I were you, I wouldn't want the 90 degree days if I was 32 weeks+.
