My cousin cornered me in the dining room.

He said he was always attracted to me. He is literally my first cousin and I have never thought about him that way... at all. We have him and his wife and 2 kids staying with us right now till Jan 2nd. I am so annoyed mostly because he is not even drunk when doing this. I felt so uncomfortable. I am scared to tell my DH because he would probably put him through a window for touching me. I feel like crying but I don't know what to do about this till they leave.

To go into detail, pretty much I was on my laptop. He comes in starts making small talk. I told him I was just looking up some recipes online. He starts to talk about how he has always thought i was attractive and my post pregnant body is "hot". I was like "oh.. ok.... thanks." Then he grabbed me and picked me up and put me on the table and got really close and told me that we should "start getting closer, like when we were younger". I played it off like ok maybe we should have more family dinners. and then he said goodnight and went upstairs.

This is what I would have told DH except that we have been doing so well keeping the peace in this house and I don't want to have a family melt down.

My DH will probably get raving mad if I tell him ANY of this story. He will go into the guest room and knock my cousin unconscious. DH's family has that blood that instantly boils lol. It doesn't help that as of this morning DH thinks my cousin is a jerk ( earlier today, cousin said something about our mixed race kids and DH got mad).

OP, if this is for real, then talk to your DH and kick the creep to the curb. This is worth a family meltdown, so I'm not sure I believe you.

OP, let me give you some words in case you are ever in this situation again:

When he "picked you up" and put you on the table (seriously?? he did that?" you SHRIEK. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" as loud as you can.

When he says "What the hell?" you smile sweetly and say "Sorry, you startled me!!"

When the family comes running and asks "What's wrong? Did you see a mouse" you say "No, it's OK. Cousin James just picked me up out of my chair suddenly, and set me here on the table! I was so startled!"
