Wow, that sounds juvenile and irrelevant.

Just like Australia soccer.

US fans will join in on that. Soccer isn't full of MAGA, especially given world cup tickets are out of the base's income/disability check range.

Maybe juvenile (but that's modern politics in the Trump age)...but if the media won't speak the truth, at least we have Australia picking up the slack.

You can sell one seat at $1,000 or 5 seats at $200. It is the same amount of money. So half a stadium could be empty and fifa is still making over a billion

ticket revenues are barely a rounding error in FIFA's calculation. The worldwide TV/broadcast rights are the main driver.

Soccer/football's global fan base could care less about Trump and America's corrupt political parties.

Good grief. This comment ranks up there with Hillary's "basket of deplorables" comment.

Guess it is just the liberal elites who can afford to go to the games, right?

On the other hand, I am loving the social media of many of the folks who have come to the US to see the games.

British woman says she was “born in the wrong country”.

She says “nothing comes close to USA” 🥹.

She’s travelled to 27 different countries & says the USA beats anything she’s ever experienced.

I sure do love people that love us. I’ve watched her videos & she & her husband are traveling all over the states, having a blast!

It’s been so much fun watching America through the eyes of Europeans.
This has been my favorite content 🥹.

I just love that she loves America 🇺🇸

The World Cup has been such a nice advertisement for America.

USA! USA! USA! USA!

I'm afraid the enthusiasm for US soccer will end shortly after they advance from the group stage but for now, USA, USA...

What exactly is your point? MAGA can actually afford tickets because a British woman enjoyed her World Cup trip to the US?

A Brit being able to afford a ticket is more likely than a scummy peasant MAGA idiot being able to afford a ticket. I love hearing Brits say they love America too and I've forgiven them for burning our White House.

Check out the Men In Blazers Instagram account. They have so many World Cup videos of foreign fans living their best lives and loving the U.S.

Why shouldn't they?? One awful president doesn't make for an awful country with awful citizens.

It kinda does, though. But they can have their fun on vacation.

Only in your world of misguided thought does it matter. Foreigners had fun in Sochi in 2014 and Berlin in 1936 (believe it or not)... because the Russians and Germans are mostly decent people after all. We will not let Trump put a damper on the fun that can be had in the US. That would be letting him win and that ain't happening over my dead body, brother. Cheers.

Maybe for you and your ilk but you don’t speak for the rest of the country. You’re not even the majority you think you are.

Anyone who thinks we'll let Trump's awfulness define us as a nation is wrong, wrong, wrong. The foreigners here now are realizing that we as a people are much better than our government has portrayed us to be since Obama left office.
