We pay off our credit cards each month. I was wondering how much others charge on their cards. I know it varies but what is your average?
We spent about $9,000 a month. |
| Much |
| You spend $9k a month not including mortgage, utilities, cars, etc - that's just every day spending? |
| Our income is about 3x that and our CC bill is about $10,000 per month. We have a lot of travel expenses. |

OP here:
We paid for our cars in cash and have no mortgage. We travel a lot. |
|
We spend about that - well maybe a little less if you average it out over the year. We get slammed during the holidays and travel times. Probably $5k on "light" months.
We put everything on AmEx though. Medical, etc. |
| We are a bit under that HHI. We spend about $5K a month and save a lot of money. And we try to charge as much as possible. I hope to retire early. Spouse prefers to work. |
I'm not the OP but you can put some "utilities" on credit cards. We put all telecom expenses, for instance, on a credit card every month. Car insurance too. Anything you can pay for w/a cc w/o a monthly fee, we charge. We also pay off each month, but get thousands of points/month on our credit cards for doing this. |
| We spend every penny we make. We're in the million dollar area of wealth. Life should be filled with excess. |
yawn |
| We make 2x that and don't use credit. |
|
We make 10x that and use cash.
Obama is talking about income inequality. I don't see it. |
| duh , you put everything on the company credit card so you can deduct everything |
You just made me LOL. Thank you. |
