Left the apple pie sitting out overnight. Is it still good to eat?

| I wish I could blame DH, but it's totally my fault. After a late night piece of leftover apple pie, I left the rest of the pie sitting out on the counter. It stayed out for about 10 hours. It is ridiculously delicious so I would hate to throw it away, but is it still safe to eat? |

| I've seen people leave pies out for several days without them going bad. I probably wouldn't even think to refrigerate an apple pie. |

OP here. Thanks for the quick responses. I'm going to go get myself a slice of pie! It's salted caramel apple pie, so it would have been tragic to throw it out.

you don't have to refrigerate apple pie. you can even leave it out tonight.

| Does it make a difference if the pie has been sliced and the insides are exposed? I.e., it would go bad without refrigeration if it has been cut but not if it was left intact? |
